Love it. Your lines dance and rhyme- and make me want to read a new stack of books! Reminiscent of the poem my -and likely your- students memorized "A Jingle of Words". I'm currently listening to Anna Karenina also (have been over the past year)!! On the go reads are Always in My Heart by Anna Marie Bontrager, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by Comer, and just finished the graphic novel When Stars Are Scattered.
I just devoured the Paris Daughter by Kristin Harmel. Also the Secret Keeper by Genevieve Graham is hard to put down. Now I am working on The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley for the second time. Also captivating
I love the nature lines- deep green streams, leafy stacks. Your poems is a delight to read! I just finished Persuasion and on to Northanger Abbey and the rest- it's Austen in April.
Those are two Austens I have never gotten round to. So many “classics” so little time! Although it would probably help if the ones I’ve been working on weren’t such doorstop size. 😆
Just finished Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, reading The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion and starting The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society...
I’ve been enjoying quite the stack of classics this winter, but I don’t think I’ve read Little Women since girlhood! I’m guessing I might enjoy it even more now.

A graphic novel! I have not yet attempted such, but I want to!

I love the poem!
I finished The Lincoln Highway not very long ago.
Currently I’m reading The Mountain Between Us, although I think I’d be enjoying it more if the youth hadn’t discussed the ending in detail. 🫣
And it’s time to pick another book to read through for story time, so that’s what I’ll be reading in the next week or so.
Spoilers are the worst! But Lincoln Highway is the best!
Drinking metaphors like milkshakes, similes for supper time… aww what lovely lines!

I love it–and hearing of the poem's conception...
Just finished Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, reading The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion and starting The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society...
I loved “Guernsey” as well! ✨
All of those books are such gems! The Rosie Effect and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society are some of my favorites!
I'm savoring Becoming the Pastor's Wife by Beth Allison Barr.
Ahh, this was a delight to read. It really is a vibe. I am rereading Little Women. I just finished the Heaven Trilogy by Ted Dekker.

Isn’t the merging of those disparate thought paths so intriguing at times?!
